Terms of service.
These terms govern your purchase and use of Meridian's genomic tests in India.
Who you are contracting with
Meridian DNA is a brand operated by Dreamers And Doers It Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. When you place an order, your contract is with Dreamers And Doers It Solutions Private Limited (“Meridian”).
What the service is
Meridian provides genomic testing, including polygenic risk tests and around 25x whole-genome sequencing, and secure delivery of your results and, where applicable, your genomic data for personal knowledge, ancestry, and wellness. It is not a clinical or diagnostic test and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anything. It is not medical advice. Sequencing and analysis are performed by accredited laboratory partners.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to order. You may order for a family member only with their informed consent, and the sample must be provided by the named person.
Orders and delivery
Orders are charged at checkout. We will reach out within 24 hours to schedule your sample collection. Time from sample receipt to your report is typically about two to four weeks; timelines are estimates, not guarantees. For whole-genome sequencing you also receive your VCF file to download and keep, and you hold the only key to your encrypted data; if you lose it, we cannot recover your files.
Your data
After you download your file we delete our copy, and our laboratory partners destroy your biological sample within 30 days of delivery. See the Data Policy for detail.
Refunds
You can cancel within 24 hours of payment for a full refund. After the 24-hour window, the order is non-refundable, as we begin scheduling your sample collection visit and committing laboratory capacity. If your sample fails laboratory quality control, we will arrange a fresh collection at no charge or offer a full refund.
Disclaimers and governing law
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian's liability is limited to the amount you paid. These terms are governed by the laws of India. [Limitation, indemnity, and governing-law clauses to be finalized by counsel.]
