How we collect, protect, and delete your data.
What we collect
Order and contact details (name, email, phone, address), and the genomic data produced from your sample. Payment is handled by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not receive or store your full card details.
How your genome is protected
Your genomic data is stored encrypted with a key only you hold. We cannot read it. When you explore your genome, the work happens on your own device. After you download your file, we delete our copy. Because only you hold the key, if you lose it we cannot recover your files.
Your sample
Our accredited laboratory partners destroy your biological sample and purge their copy of your data within 30 days of delivery. A certificate of destruction is available on request.
We never sell your data
We do not sell your genomic or personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers, employers, or insurers. We share data only with the service providers needed to fulfil your order (the sequencing laboratory and the payment processor), under contract.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold. You are protected under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Contact privacy@meridiandna.com to exercise these rights. The data controller is Dreamers And Doers It Solutions Private Limited.
